Geared up

So, today is Mardi Gras(fat tuesday!)and since I grew up going to private Catholic schools(kindergarten-senior year) We always had the tradition to eat your favorite things the Tuesday(today) before lent starts(tomorrow). So, in keeping with the tradition since I'm really like eating well lately anyway I bought a few things to eat today, but nowhere near as bad as normal which is a step in the right direction for me.

We are also supposed to make "Lenten promises" which are things will sacrifice for 40 days or things we do to try and better ourselves. On Sundays we get a free day and we can have whatever we gave up.

I most def. will set a goal to lose weight for Lent(plus I'm doing the 75DC which will help) and I am also going to give up regular soda. I haven't drank regular soda in like 2 years before I moved in with my bf and that's all he drinks so it will be a stretch for me.

Overall, I am very excited. I'm going to try my best not to fail. I'm at my highest weight and that is just crushing...I want to be healthy!
